Services for Architects and Engineers
For Architects
Treating rainwater from roofs, terraces and paths as a resource rather than a problem to be solved.
We design gardens as rainscapes: landscapes where planting, soil and natural drainage manage the rainwater that falls on roofs, terraces and paths, turning it into a resource to enhances the experience of the place.
We create landscapes that feel integral to the architecture and
character of the wider area.
we support your architectural vision from as early as feasibility: strengthening sightlines, grounding the building in its environment and enhancing the overall feel of the scheme.
By shaping topography and planted SuDS features together from the outset
in a clear, calm and reassuring way, helping them understand the landscape decisions and supporting your conversations throughout the project.
We communicate with your clients
on infiltration, sizing and hydraulic checks so the strategy is technically robust and planning‑ready.
We coordinate closely with drainage engineers
We provide:
SuDS-Led Concept Design (RIBA 1-3)
Early‑stage landscape and surface‑water strategy for planning and design coordination.
Landscape Masterplans with Integrated SuDS
Full garden and landscape design with rainwater harvesting, rain gardens, swales, planting and more natural drainage features, to support clients, planning and contractors.
Planning Support Packages
Working with the full design team to produce the appropriate package of SuDS narratives, diagrams and responses to LLFA comments.
Planting Design
The final piece to deliver joyful gardens and SuDS.
For Engineers
Design‑led surface SuDS that complement your technical work.
As we design the landscape to the clients’ brief, we devise the rainwater management train to work within it, incorporating vegetated surface‑based drainage features to ensure that the rainwater management train meets all four SuDS pillars. The findings of your technical modelling, infiltration rate calculations and hydraulic sizing are taken into account in shaping the rain gardens and swales artfully to benefit the landscape scheme.
Together, we deliver coordinated, compliant schemes that help keep rural projects simple, buildable and aligned with the 2025 National Standards.
